His Birthday

For your birthday, me you will get,
plus a present, so no need to fret.
Celebrations start at 7 am prompt,
in my love you will be swamped.

This one will be a birthday weekend,
all your time you will with me spend.
Tonight a movie with favorite friends,
itself to a nice kickoff indeed it lends.

Saturday relaxed we enjoy our coffees,
you’ll forget all about the office.
Sunday maybe we’ll find a new home,
then a movie under the Dawson dome.

Monday just you and me and good food,
then some fun to which I will not allude.
Tuesday the lovely Bistro welcomes us again,
for you a steak with a sauce of cayenne.

Birthdays are very special, no doubt about that,
well maybe not if you are a cat (nine lives...)
Let’s make this one a crap-load of fun,
with lots of laughter and more than one pun.
